The Boats

Boat builders and restoration experts look at a boat's restoration potential from an economic perspective. Many individuals make this evaluation from an emotional one.

"Any boat is restorable, but it doesn't always make sense to do it."

A boat comes to the end of her life when the costs for restoration are greater than her market value fully restored.

A common reason derelict boats seem to sit for so long is that there are significant costs associated with their disposal. Another reason is that no one likes to see it happen. Often the inevitable is postponed in hopes another alternative may surface.

As the raw material for our one-of-a-kind nautical furniture, these boats live on.
